Today Tuesday, April 5,  is the  Regular Municipal Election for the Town of Poncha Springs. The election is being conducted as a Mail Ballot Election and there will be three (3) Trustee positions on the ballot.

Polls opened at 7:00 a.m. this morning and are open to voting until 7:00 p.m. tonight. The designated mail ballot drop-off location and polling place is the Poncha Springs Town Hall, located at 333 Burnett Avenue in Poncha Springs.

Poncha Springs does not have established voting districts. All residents vote on all candidates for the town leadership positions up for election. In this year’s election, they will be asked to pick three of the four declared candidates.

Four candidates are running for the three open trustee positions. With everyone voting on all three seats, it becomes important to get to know the candidates running to represent you.

To be eligible to vote: You must be 18 years of age, registered to vote, and a citizen of the United States. You must be a resident of the town of Poncha Springs and have resided in the state of Colorado for at least 22 days immediately preceding the election.
