From 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 3,  nonprofit organization and Human Resources expert Katie Davis will host a workshop focusing on better practices for volunteer coordination, policies, procedures, and more.

The past 12 months dealing with COVID-19 pandemic realities have been an incredibly challenging time to manage volunteers. From recruitment, to training, people have had to adjust not only their expectations but adapt with their volunteers as well.

This webinar will discuss how to take a proactive role in the management of volunteers, whether virtually or in person. Participants will also take time to explore the differences they may face managing paid staff, unpaid interns and volunteers and what policies are needed to be in place to support the success of volunteers.

Chaffee County Community Foundation Executive Director Joseph Teipel will also share more about Chaffee County’s new county-wide volunteer portal. The workshop is free but those who wish to participate must RSVP. Click here to sign up.
