Support the Arts in Salida is a campaign by the Salida Council for the Arts to encourage donations to the arts during these trying economic times.
The Council supports artists through such programs as art exhibits, community grants, high school art scholarships and William Boddy “passion to learn” art classes.
The council is currently planning their 2021 schedule and several donation levels are available to show your support. “Become an Art Lover” is one way to support the arts with a recurring donation or choose a one-time donation. Those interested can also become a business contributor to show partnership and get your logo on the Salida Council for the Art’s website. Click here to donate.
Another way to contribute to the arts is to volunteer at the Salida Council for the Arts. Volunteer opportunities include:
- Art Lovers Committee
- Fundraising Committee
- Valley Visions Art Show
- Boddy Jam – concert to raise scholarship funds
- Salida Film Festival
- Marketing (bloggers, social media posts)
- High School Scholarship selection committee
- Community Grants committee
