The Salida City Clerk’s Office will be open from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 22, and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays to accept ballots for the special election.

Ballots can be dropped off at these times at the City Clerk’s Office in the Touber Building at 448 E. First St., Suite 112 in Salida.

On election day, Sept. 25, ballots can be dropped off from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at City Council Chambers, Room 190 in the Touber Building. Ballots may also be mailed but must be received no later than Sept. 25.

Salida residents can register to vote weekdays up to and including election day, but voter registration is at the County Building, 104 Crestone Ave. in Salida. However, residents can also register to vote from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, at City Council Chambers in the Touber Building.
