Chaffee County Land Use Code Update Project Module 1 Seeks Public Comment – Time Sensitive

Together Chaffee County, the project name for the revised Land Use Code (LUC) now has Module 1 ready for public comment. The consultant firm, Logan Simpson, has built these still-in-draft versions based on input from community surveys, insights from interviews, advisory committee guidance, and staff and commissioner direction, along with the project’s guiding principles.

Logan Simpson Has Made It Easy To Provide Interactive Feedback

The preferred method is online on their document review portal since it ties comments directly to the proposed code language. You can click anywhere on the document to comment.

You may click on existing yellow (comment) bubbles to see and reply to comments from others. Also, notice that on certain pages, there may be a blue icon on the top left corner with additional information. You may use the search function to find specific sections or topics within each chapter.

Text shown in black is existing in the current Land Use Code. Text shown in blue with a strike-through is proposed for removal. Text shown in blue with an underline is proposed as new language.

You can also email Logan Simpson with your input before the Public Hearing meetings but be sure to indicate the precise section(s) you are referring to.
