AVV in Español: As of today, now you can read Ark Valley Voice in Spanish.
News should be available to everyone, regardless of the language you normally speak; at least that is what the crew at Ark Valley Voice believes. So, aware of the growth of minority audiences in the Arkansas River Valley, AVV now has added a translation tool to our digital news publication.

“Given the growing diversity of our state, and our readership, we believe that truth should have a voice — and that truth should be made more accessible so that anyone regardless of their ability to pay, or their language, can have access to fact-based news,” said Publisher/Managing Editor Jan Wondra. “Being able to read the news in your primary language leads to more informed citizens and it certainly equalizes access to information.”

Until now, AVV has published only in English, and Spanish is its first move to make its news stories accessible to Spanish-speaking readers.

Readers can switch languages simply by going to the right-hand column of our AVV home page (www.arkvalleyvoice.com) and scrolling down the page to “AVV in Español” and clicking on the flag symbol for Spanish. AVV remains the selected language but can be switched again at any time.
